Researching the impact of storytelling

Previous posts here have emphasised the importance we place on storytelling. We tell stories to share our joy and our despair, to understand ourselves and the world more, and to support us in moving forward in our lives. In PATCHATT, stories are used to catalyse change. We use visual narratives to support group participants in understanding what matters to them, articulate it, and then make a change to enhance their lives. We want to know more about the power of storytelling. I therefore undertook some research into how storytelling might support patients to lead change across the palliative care ecosystem. Watch the short video below to see what I discovered.
